Deborah Rhea Seehorn Bio

 Deborah Rhea Seehorn (born May 12 1972) is an American actress from the United States. She is known best as the lawyer Kim Wexler in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-present), where she is two-time winner of the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress - Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She was also on NBC's Whitney (2011–2013) and ABC's I'm with Her 2003-2004, and TNT's Franklin & Bash 2011–2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn, a Norfolk native was born on 12 May in 1972. Her mother was the executive assistant for the United States Navy, while her father was an agent in the Naval Investigative Service; her family was frequently moved during her early years, including Washington, D.C. and Arizona as well as in Japan. She followed the example of her father and grandmother by studying architecture, painting, and drawing since a young age. While she was a lover of the visual arts throughout her life, it was during this time that she discovered an interest in acting. In college she was introduced to modern theatre. She earned a bachelor's degree in Studio Art from George Mason University in 1994. Seehorn started her college career as an actor and was inspired by her acting professor. She held a variety of ancillary roles in the theater industry in D.C. to try to make her stand out. She was able get the most important roles in local theater productions. However, she was forced to do odd jobs to earn a living. In order to pay the bills she was also able to take on roles in short industrial instructional films. She soon started getting parts in more TV productions, frequently playing roles that she described as "very humorous, sarcastic, and knowledgeable women" that were similar to her favorite actress Bea Arthur. The majority of her parts were then deleted after only one or two seasons. Seehorn was part of Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff series. Seehorn is Kim Wexler, a lawyer and love interest of the titular Jimmy McGill/Saul G. Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
