Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28, 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work were also done for Tess in the videogame by Naughty Dog The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. When she was a teenager she was a competitive Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching's acting journey began with her appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's daytime soap drama General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also played guest roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she was the regular series star for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also played the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on the 7th of December the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching is set to play the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
