Will Ferrell
became famous as an actor on 'Saturday Night Live'. He then starred in many
big-screen comedies such as Elf,' Anchorman and "Talladega Nights. Will
Ferrell was born in Irvine in 1967. He started his career in comedy as a part of
the group from Los Angeles called The Groundlings. Following his seven years as
a Saturday night Live cast member, Ferrell became one of the most well-known
comedians in the business through off-color hits such as Old School (2003) or
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also the co-founder
of the popular video streaming site Funny or Die, and enjoyed success as a
voiceover actor in animated films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell,
born July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell is the eldest child of
Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), however, he
wasn't exactly a class clown when he was in University High School. Ferrell,
who was calm and quiet was adamant about making his mark in football where he
set a school-record for most field goals he scored. Ferrell displayed a lack of
absurd, humorous behaviour that would define his career even at his suburban
home. "Very even-tempered, and very casual," his mother recalled in
an interview with Esquire. "You aren't you old enough to remember those
Matchbox cars?" Will arrange his Matchbox cars by himself, and be totally
happy. You'd ask, 'Do you want to go to Disneyland today or set up your cars?'
And he'd have to think about it. Ferrell wasn't a perfect straight man however
that doesn't mean to say he was not. When he made the regular announcements
using the PA system, a glimpse into his comical skills was revealed every
morning in high school. Ferrell graduated from the University of Southern California,
Los Angeles in 1986. He joined Delta Tau fraternity, and pursued a degree for
sports journalism.
